Job summary

APM Group’s Early Start Australia Graduate program offers a 12‑month pathway from student to independent therapist within a close‑knit allied health team. You’ll receive structured clinical supervision, a dedicated buddy, and hands-on practice across clinic, home, school and community settings.

You’ll develop client-centred therapy plans for children and families, align with NDIS funding, maintain thorough documentation, and grow professionally with CPD support and career progression

Qualifications

• Must hold an Occupational Therapy qualification and be eligible for registration with AHPRA.
• Active WWCC or relevant worker screening and police checks.
• Current driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Excellent observational and report-writing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and manage a varied caseload with a client-centred approach.
• Design, implement, monitor, and adjust individualised therapy programs.
• Deliver therapy across clinic, home, school and community settings, including group programs.
• Collaborate with clients, families, allied health professionals and external stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, complete reviews and reports, identify new service opportunities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and high-quality communications.
• Ensure therapy plans align with funding requirements (NDIS) and invoicing.
• Uphold professional standards, confidentiality and risk management.
