Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Network Dev Engineer Graduate to join the AWS Infrastructure team in Sydney. You will deploy network infrastructure across fabrics supporting Retail, Kindle, Payments, and AWS services, and work with automation teams to scale tooling.

You will collaborate on designs to production, and help maintain network standards across global data centers. Ideal candidates graduate in 2026 or have graduated recently, with Linux/Unix experience and scripting in Python/Perl/Shell.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Information Systems, MIS, Telecommunications or similar program.
• Graduating in 2026 or graduated within the past 24 months
• Experience working in a Linux/Unix environment
• Experience scripting in languages such as Python, Perl or Shell

Responsibilities

• Deploy network infrastructure across all of our network fabrics that supports the Amazon Retail Service, Kindle, Payments and multiple AWS services.
• Scale the network across multiple global Data Centers.
• Create and improve simple, repetitive deployment processes that increase both velocity and quality of delivery.
• Work closely with our internal customers on designs/solutions; bringing those designs/solutions from concept to production.
• Create and update our network standards and ensure that the network is deployed to these standards.
• Work closely with our automation teams in defining the tools that allow us to scale at unprecedented volume.
