Job summary

Australasian Mail Services is seeking a Graduate IT Systems Support Person to join the IT team in Matraville. This role offers broad exposure to systems, infrastructure, networking, and warehouse technology within a fast‑moving e‑commerce and logistics environment.

You will work closely with warehouse, logistics and transport teams, providing practical IT support and contributing to ongoing reliability and process improvements across day‑to‑day operations.

Qualifications

• Qualification in IT, CS, IS, networking or a related discipline.
• Graduate or early‑career experience in IT support or systems.
• Good knowledge of Windows environments.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN and Wi‑Fi.
• Basic understanding of servers and infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non‑technical users.
• Good organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Willingness to learn and develop across different areas of IT.
• Hands‑on approach and willingness to work with operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on IT systems and technical support across warehouse and office operations.
• Troubleshoot issues across Windows environments, networks, applications and end‑user devices.
• Support Microsoft 365, user accounts, permissions and related services.
• Assist with servers, cloud services and infrastructure monitoring.
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN, DNS and DHCP connectivity issues.
• Support warehouse technology including scanners, label printers and operational systems.
• Investigate issues affecting warehouse, fulfilment, dispatch and transport operations.
• Work with internal IT specialists and external vendors to resolve technical issues.
• Assist with system upgrades, deployments, testing and implementation.
• Identify recurring problems and opportunities for automation and process improvement.
