Job summary

Alliance Automation Pty seeks graduates for a structured IT/OT pathway, combining enterprise IT, OT consulting, and cybersecurity within industrial automation projects across Australian clients.

You will grow through in-house programs, mentoring, and hands-on site work, with exposure to SCADA, PLCs, networking, and digital workplace solutions as part of a progressive engineering career.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree or equivalent in related disciplines.
• Strong fundamentals in engineering, technology, systems, or computing.
• Interest in industrial automation, OT, cybersecurity, or digital transformation.
• Foundational networking, OS, and systems integration understanding.
• Excellent problem-solving and written/verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and client locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist design, configuration, and deployment of OT and industrial control systems.
• Support development, testing, commissioning, and optimization of automation projects.
• Gain experience with enterprise IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, and cloud tech.
• Contribute to technical documentation and engineering reports.
• Participate in site-based activities like commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver solutions for clients.
• Support cybersecurity controls and best practices per IEC 62443 and Essential Eight.
• Learn IT/OT convergence and digital technologies for safer, smarter operations.
• Adhere to HSEQ standards and participate in mentoring and development.
