Job summary

Johnson Controls Australia is offering an early-career engineering role within the Pacific Applied Operations team. You will support the design, selection, estimation, documentation and delivery of applied HVAC solutions for data centres, commercial and industrial applications.

This graduate-friendly position focuses on gaining practical technical and commercial skills through supervised exposure to equipment application, project execution and commissioning, with opportunities to learn CAD/BIM

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or related field, recently completed or nearing completion.
Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Clear written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
Willingness to learn new HVAC products, tools and systems.
Experience with CAD, BIM or HVAC design tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist with the application, design and selection of HVAC equipment and system solutions.
Review specs and drawings to identify technical requirements and gaps.
Prepare equipment selections, calculations, schedules, drawings, submittals, estimates and proposals.
Coordinate with factories, product teams and suppliers on compliance, pricing and delivery.
Support project handover, design reviews and document control.
Ensure documentation meets customer requirements and safety procedures.
