ETS Geotechnical, based in Cairns, is seeking a Graduate Engineer (Civil or Geotechnical) to join our Cairns team. This role offers exposure to a range of geotechnical projects with a balance of field investigations, construction support, and office-based engineering work, under the guidance of experienced engineers.

The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience, develop technical skills, and grow within a supportive consulting environment in Far North Queensland.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Graduate or up to 3 years' relevant engineering experience.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• Australian working rights are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with geotechnical site investigations, field testing, and subsurface exploration programs.
• Undertake geotechnical logging and collection of field data.
• Assist in the preparation of factual and interpretive geotechnical reports.
• Support construction projects through site inspections, testing, and verification activities.
• Work collaboratively with senior engineers to deliver project outcomes and maintain high technical standards.
• Develop positive relationships with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders through professional communication and service delivery.

About the Position
