Job summary

ERM Australia is inviting recent Environmental Graduates to join our Newcastle office as Environmental Graduate Consultants in Contaminated Land Investigation. You will participate in fieldwork, collect environmental data and support assessments across multiple projects in a global sustainability consultancy.

A structured onboarding and training program will help you develop core consulting skills and grow within a leading global network.

Qualifications

• Tertiary education in environmental science, environmental engineering, or a related degree.
• Recent graduate to 2 years of experience or looking for a career change.
• Ability to commit to fieldwork programs that include visiting project sites to conduct field studies and collect environmental data and samples.
• Strong commitment to safety; ability to follow established health and safety protocols.
• Effective written and verbal communication; organizational and analytical skills; experience recording, inputting and managing technical data and preparing reports.
• Understanding of / experience working with data management software / databases would be beneficial.
• Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, travel, and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to succeed in a consulting environment, simultaneously handling multiple project assignments and meeting strict deadlines.
• Dependable, with integrity, respect, positive outlook, and customer focus and the ability to work as a team player.
• Australian Working Rights.
