Job summary

Queensland Health’s Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service is offering a Graduate Enrolled Nurse program to support your transition into professional practice within a supportive, community-focused team.

This structured program provides supervised clinical experience, learning activities aligned to EN competencies, regular feedback, and opportunities to consolidate critical thinking and clinical skills while delivering patient-centred care across diverse local services.

Qualifications

• Enrolled nurse qualification with eligibility for registration.
• Demonstrated ability to provide patient-centred care in a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, provide fundamental nursing care to patients.
• Engage in structured clinical activities aligned to EN competencies.
