Job summary

Cleanaway, Australia’s leading waste management company, invites graduates to join a two-year program aimed at hands-on experience across resource recovery facilities. You'll rotate through sites, contribute to asset performance and safety projects, and work with engineers, operators and maintenance teams.

The program targets Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial, Civil or Electrical Engineering graduates, with emphasis on safety, initiative and learning agility.

Qualifications

• Graduates from Mechanical/Mechatronics/Industrial/Civil or Electrical Engineering with interest in asset maintenance and process improvement.
• Willingness to travel and work in industrial environments.
• Strong safety mindset and hands‑on problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Complete rotations across a range of resource recovery operations/sites.
• Gain hands‑on experience in active waste and resource recovery facilities.
• Contribute to safety, asset performance and operational improvement projects.
• Collaborate with operators, supervisors, maintenance teams and engineers.
