Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, maintenance and improvement of engineering systems.
• Support projects to improve safety, reliability and performance of assets.
• Collaborate with signalling, rolling stock, asset management and delivery teams.
• Apply university knowledge to real engineering challenges.
• Participate in site visits to gain practical exposure to rail operations.
• Develop technical solutions for a more efficient, sustainable transport network.
• Build stakeholder relationships and understand value for customers and communities.
