Job summary

Alliance Automation is seeking a Graduate Engineer in Australia to start in our Internal IT Team, building hands-on experience across networks, infrastructure, systems and cybersecurity. You’ll progressively move into our OT & Cybersecurity Engineering Consulting group, where IT and engineering meet in complex industrial environments.

The role offers a structured development pathway, exposure to IT, cybersecurity and industrial technology, plus opportunities to travel and develop client-facing

• Strong technical curiosity and a genuine interest in technology.
• An interest in networking, cybersecurity and industrial systems.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• A practical, hands‑on approach.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• The confidence to ask questions and learn.
• A collaborative approach to working with others.
• A willingness to travel to client sites as your career develops.
• Previous exposure to networking, cybersecurity, programming, IT support, industrial automation, PLCs or SCADA is advantageous, but it isn’t essential.

Responsibilities

• Build hands-on experience across networks, infrastructure, systems, troubleshooting and cybersecurity in the Internal IT Team.
• Progress into OT & Cybersecurity Engineering Consulting as you gain exposure to OT environments.
• Support the national engineering business by integrating IT with industrial technology and cybersecurity.
