Job summary

Supagas is seeking a Graduate Engineer in Victoria to kick start your engineering career. You’ll support senior engineers and project teams in delivering depot upgrades, commissioning and gas filling equipment installation.

This role offers hands-on experience across all project stages while helping ensure technical, operational and safety standards are met, providing a solid foundation for your engineering career.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related) with strong academic knowledge.
• Understanding of P&IDs and construction practices; practical experience is a plus.
• Willing to develop knowledge in gas plant systems (CO2 filling, LPG, ASUs, cryogenic storage).
• Strong problem-solving abilities, proactive mindset and commitment to learning.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; open to training in project management tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; travel to site locations may be required.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of project plans, including scope, timeline, and budget.
• Assist in preparing technical documentation (P&IDs, GA drawings, site layouts).
• Liaise with stakeholders to support regulatory approvals and permitting.
• Produce construction-ready drawings with senior engineers and designers.
• Coordinate on-site activities and ensure safety and project standards.
• Engage with contractors and branch managers to deliver projects.
• Contribute to quality control, site inspections, audits, and reporting.
