Reporting to both the Integrated Product Support Manager and an Engineering Manager of your field of study, you will receive training in both disciplines. Through a 3‑year program, you will be supported by experienced Product Support Engineers, technical specialists and engineering leaders, gaining exposure to everything from system design to reliability, safety, sustainment, operations, and lifecycle management to discover numerous future career path opportunities within Raytheon Australia. If after the end of the development program you decide that Product Support engineering isn’t for you, you have foundation of knowledge to serve your career.
You will have the opportunity to provide support to multiple engineering programs within Raytheon Australia across Air, Sea and Land domains. Interact with a broad range of stakeholders, including engineers, military operators, technicians, maintainers, and customers (Submariners, Sailors, Pilots, Electronic Warfare Operators) who contribute to the design, development, operation and support of these systems.
Within Product Support, you will learn how engineering decisions impact the whole system lifecycle, contributing to the development of reliable and maintainable systems, analyse user needs to develop practical support solutions for complex systems, and you will use data analytics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
