Motorola Solutions Melbourne is seeking a Graduate Engineer to join a fast-paced team working on mission-critical applications and systems. You will collaborate with software, network, and system engineers to develop, support and enhance Motorola systems in cloud and on‑prem environments.

The role emphasizes IT infrastructure, virtualization, cloud technologies (Azure) and secure operations, with opportunities for hands-on learning and growth within a global leader in mission-critical solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics or Computer Science, or related discipline.
Industry certification in networking/cloud or security is desirable but not mandatory.
Understanding of IT and RF systems from coursework, internships, or projects.
Strong English communication skills, written and spoken.
Interest in learning scripting, virtualization, cloud, infrastructure and networking.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day IT system administration and maintenance for managed services.
Collaborate with Senior Engineers as escalation point for NOCC staff.
Configure VMs and virtual infrastructure.
Work with Azure cloud and on-prem virtualization.
Ensure systems are secure and compliant.
Develop and maintain procedures to measure service performance.
Interacting with stakeholders and document incidents and resolutions.
