Job summary

Egis in Brisbane invites you to join our Water Resources team as a Graduate Engineer. You’ll contribute to real projects from week one, applying GIS, flood modelling and water balance analysis to support infrastructure design and resilience.

Graduating in Civil or Environmental Engineering in early 2027, you will collaborate with specialists, develop professional skills, and benefit from a buddy system and continuous learning in a global practice.

Qualifications

  • Graduating in Civil or Environmental Engineering in early 2027.
  • Experience with GIS and flood or water balance modelling is advantageous.
  • Interest in water resources and infrastructure is essential.

You’ll support technical analysis using GIS, water and flood modelling software across a variety of projects from our Brisbane office. Join our dynamic and high-performing Water Resources team for the 2027 Graduate intake!

Key responsibilities

What do we need from you
  • Graduating prior to commencing full-time work in February 2027
  • Tertiary degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
  • Available to start February 2027
  • Relevant work rights to live and work full-time in Australia. This position is not open to applicants outside of Australia
About you
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Strong willingness to learn and grow professionally
  • Interest and enthusiasm to work within water resources
  • Detail orientated and analytical
  • Exposure to GIS software, as well as flood modelling and/or water balance modelling is highly regarded.
  • Previous vacation or internship experience within the mining industry, local government or a consulting environment will be highly regarded
