What does a Graduate Electrical Engineer in our Water team do?

On a day to day, you might be involved in and learn:

  • Electrical designs for the Water industry including the following:
  • Interfacing with customers for projects including scoping, comprehension and implementation.
  • Electrical power single line, control system schematics, and installation drawing development
  • Power system modelling and maximum demand calculation
  • Lighting design
  • Lightning protection and earthing design
  • Cable sizing, routing and schedules
  • Programable Logic Controller (PLC) hardware selection and signal schedules.
