Goldwind Australia invites graduates to join its 2026 Graduate Program in Sydney as part of the Grid Connection team. This structured 24‑month development pathway provides hands-on exposure to utility-scale wind, battery energy storage systems, and hybrid renewables, including how projects connect to the National Electricity Market.

You will learn from experienced Grid Connection and Power Systems professionals, developing a deep understanding of power networks and interactions with industry

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or near completion in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or Power Systems Engineering.
• Strong interest in renewable energy, electricity networks and power systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Join Goldwind Australia's two-year Graduate Program and kick-start your career in the renewable energy industry. As part of our Grid Connection team, you will gain hands-on experience across wind farm and battery energy storage (BESS) projects, learning how large-scale renewable energy projects are connected to the Australian electricity grid.

As part of our Grid Team, you will:

• Participate in a structured 24-month graduate development program.

• Work with industry stakeholders including AEMO, network service providers and engineering consultants.

• Build the foundations for a long-term career in renewable energy and power systems.

Your Background

We are seeking motivated graduates who are passionate about renewable energy and Australia's energy transition.

You will ideally have:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Power Systems Engineering or a related discipline.
• A strong interest in renewable energy, electricity networks and power systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• A willingness to learn and develop within a fast-paced project environment.

Previous exposure to power systems, energy networks or renewable energy through university studies, internships or projects will be highly regarded but is not essential.
