We want to hear from you!
At Biodiversity Australia, we’re an Indigenous-owned environmental consultancy delivering real outcomes for people, projects and the environment. From renewable energy and infrastructure to Defence, resources, biodiversity stewardship and land restoration, our work is diverse, meaningful and grounded in science.
With an ecology team of 40+ professionals, we offer the opportunity to build your skills, take ownership of projects, work alongside experienced ecologists and contribute to some genuinely exciting environmental projects across Queensland and beyond.

Whether you're building your technical foundations or bringing years of consulting experience, we'll look at where you can make the biggest impact and how you can continue to grow.
We're open to a range of experience levels, from enthusiastic graduates through to experienced Senior Ecologists.
For our more experienced Ecologists and Senior Ecologists, we’re particularly interested in people with strong technical capabilities, project management experience, client relationship skills and the ability to mentor and develop others.
Experience with Regional Ecosystem verification, BioCondition assessments, threatened species surveys, GIS, environmental impact assessments or the Queensland consulting environment would be highly regarded.
Recent graduates are encouraged to apply too! We’re interested in your potential, enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
Whether you're a Graduate Ecologist ready to learn, an Ecologist looking for greater responsibility, or a Senior Ecologist ready to make your mark, we’d love to hear from you.
We’re recruiting for full-time opportunities across Queensland, with an immediate start preferred.
Bring your curiosity, your passion for the environment and your desire to make a difference. We’ll bring the projects, the team and the opportunity to grow.
