Job summary

Logan Hospital, part of Queensland's public health system, is inviting applications for a newly graduated dietitian to start their career across acute, sub-acute and ambulatory services. You will gain hands-on experience under experienced clinicians, delivering assessments, interventions and education while supporting safe, patient-centred care.

Qualifications

• The ability to provide safe, effective and evidence-based Nutrition and Dietetics assessment and management across acute, sub-acute and ambulatory settings.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• A commitment to continuous learning, reflective practice and developing your clinical knowledge with guidance from experienced clinicians.
• A willingness to develop skills in student education, clinical supervision and service improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Nutrition and Dietetics assessments, interventions, patient education and ongoing management, supporting positive health outcomes and discharge planning.
• Manage an allocated caseload, developing your clinical judgement, time management and prioritisation skills with support from senior clinicians.
• Collaborate with patients, families, carers and the wider multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated, person-centred care.
• Contribute to clinical education, quality improvement and research activities while continuing to develop your professional knowledge and skills.
