Precruitment - Recruitment Agency Cairns & Brisbane is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join their Cairns-based team. You will work on civil infrastructure projects across roads, drainage and land development, applying your growing engineering skills in a real consulting environment.

You will contribute to planning, design and delivery from concept through to construction, gaining mentoring from experienced engineers and exposure to diverse projects across Far North Queensland.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Civil Engineering.
• Practical experience in civil design is a must.
• Exposure to roads, drainage, stormwater, water, subdivisions or similar projects.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
• Good attention to detail and an ability to manage competing priorities.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• A practical approach to engineering and project delivery.
• Current driver's licence and willingness to attend project sites.

Responsabilités

• Developing practical and cost-effective civil infrastructure designs.
• Supporting road, drainage, stormwater, water and land development projects.
• Preparing technical drawings, documentation and engineering reports.
• Assisting with project delivery and undertaking site inspections.
• Monitoring construction outcomes, quality and project requirements.
• Identifying technical issues and developing practical solutions.
• Supporting approvals, compliance and stakeholder requirements.
• Liaising professionally with clients, contractors and project stakeholders.
• Working closely with senior engineers while developing your technical capability.
