Job summary

Cleanaway invites applications for its two-year Graduate Program designed to provide hands-on experience across multiple sites and facilities in a national waste management business. The program targets Applied Science (Chemistry) graduates and related disciplines with a strong safety mindset and willingness to travel.

You'll rotate through operations, safety and process improvement while building your professional network and receiving mentoring and structured development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Eligible graduates in Applied Science (Chemistry) or related disciplines.
• Strong safety mindset and willingness to work in industrial environments.
• Ability to travel as required during the program.

Responsibilities

• Complete rotations across a range of OTS sites and facilities.
• Work alongside operators, technical specialists and site leaders in active industrial environments.
• Gain hands-on experience assessing, classifying and managing hazardous and regulated waste streams.
• Apply scientific knowledge to support safe, compliant and effective operational outcomes.
• Contribute to projects focused on safety, compliance, environmental performance and operational improvement.
• Be part of a graduate cohort with a shared onboarding and development experience.
• Receive structured learning, mentoring and professional development opportunities.
