Western District Health Service is seeking an experienced and motivated Grade 2 Physiotherapist to join our team at Casterton Memorial Hospital.
This flexible opportunity offers between 24 and 40 hours per week, allowing you to tailor your work commitments while enjoying the benefits of a rewarding career in rural health.
Working across acute, outpatient, community and aged care settings, you will provide advanced physiotherapy services and play an important role in supporting patient outcomes across a diverse range of clinical areas. In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will mentor junior staff, supervise students and contribute to service development and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You'll Be Doing
Advanced Clinical Practice
Deliver high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy assessment, treatment and consultation services across acute, outpatient, community and aged care programs.
Provide supervision, clinical support and mentoring to Grade 1 Physiotherapists, Allied Health Assistants and students, supporting workforce development and professional growth.
Patient-Centred Care
Work collaboratively with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans that optimise functional outcomes and quality of life.
Service Development & Quality Improvement
Contribute to service planning, quality improvement activities and strategic initiatives that enhance physiotherapy services and patient care.
Clinical Leadership
Support the Chief Physiotherapist with departmental operations and provide leadership and operational support when required.
