Job summary

Synergie Australia seeks Van Delivery Drivers to service the Gladstone region. You will deliver express parcels to homes and businesses, load/unload cargo, and meet daily schedules with professional customer service. Immediate start available for right candidates.

Applicants should have an Australian driver’s licence, be physically able for manual handling, and pass pre-employment checks; forklift licence is a plus.

Qualifications

• Hold a current and valid Australian driver’s licence (automatic vehicle).
• Be physically fit and able to perform manual handling.
• Have prior delivery driving, courier or transport experience (highly regarded).
• Hold a forklift licence (desirable).
• Have working rights in Australia.
• Pass pre-employment medical and police check.

Responsibilities

• Deliver express parcels to residential and commercial customers.
• Load and unload parcels from the delivery vehicle.
• Complete daily delivery runs within scheduled timeframes.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
• Provide professional customer service during deliveries.

Synergie is seeking multiple Van Delivery Drivers to join a leading transport and logistics provider based in Gladstone.

The important parts:

• Casual Grade 2 Transport Award rate of $40.60 per hour
• Immediate start available for the right candidate
• Opportunity to work independently delivering express parcels throughout the Gladstone region

What you will be required to do:

As a Van Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of express parcels throughout the Gladstone area.

• Deliver express parcels to residential and commercial customers
• Load and unload parcels from the delivery vehicle
• Complete daily delivery runs within scheduled timeframes
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
• Provide professional customer service during deliveries

To be successful in the role you will:

• Hold a current and valid Australian driver's licence (automatic vehicle)
• Be physically fit and capable of performing manual handling and listing, must pass pre-employment medical.
• Have previous delivery driving, courier or transport experience (highly regarded)
• Hold a current forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
• Have working rights in Australia
• Pass Police Check
• Demonstrate a positive attitude towards safety and its importance in every role
