Job summary

Salt Medics is seeking a GP locum for Woorabinda, Central Queensland. Work fixed shifts with on-call duties at local GP and outreach clinics, including coverage of a small ED hospital.

Overnight fatigue management protocols apply; availability 14–21 October 2026. Travel and accommodation are provided. Essential qualifications include FACRMM or FRACGP; salary is $2,900 per day.

• Cover a small emergency department hospital.
• Overnight fatigue management considerations with referals as needed.

Job description

• $2,900 per day
• Available from 14-21 October 2026
• 1700H-0800H daily | 0800H-0800H weekends
• Fatigue management: Between 11pm-7am, Category 3-5 patients are managed through RSQ. Overnight Category 1-2 cases can also be referred to RSQ if required, with Rockhampton SMO/specialist phone support and senior RIPERN nurses available when needed.
