Job summary

The BUSY Group is seeking a Governance and Risk Support Officer to join our Southport office on a part-time basis (19.5 hours). You will support the Enterprise Risk Management Framework and foster a proactive risk culture across the organisation.

You will maintain risk registers, assist with risk assessments, business continuity, resilience testing, fraud prevention, and modern slavery due diligence, while engaging stakeholders and supporting governance initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in risk governance, assurance, compliance or audit.
• Knowledge of ISO 31000 and control assessment.
• Understanding resilience disciplines: business continuity, fraud, corruption and modern slavery.

Responsibilities

• Maintain risk registers and support risk assessments and workshops.
• Deliver risk-based monitoring and document findings.
• Support business continuity development and resilience testing activities.
• Assist with fraud prevention initiatives and ethical conduct awareness.
• Support due diligence and ethical sourcing for modern slavery statements.
• Promote risk awareness and develop practical tools for teams.
• Assist governance projects, reporting and uphold child safety and organisational values.
