Job summary

The Country Fire Authority (CFA) in Burwood East, Victoria, seeks a Governance Lead in the Governance, Legal and Risk Services portfolio for an ongoing full-time role. Reporting to the Senior Manager Governance Services, you will coordinate governance for CFA's Board and Committees, ensuring agendas, papers, minutes and action registers are prepared to a high standard.

You will work with senior stakeholders, chairs and committee members, provide governance advice and monitor deadlines.

Qualifications

• Governance/administration experience is highly regarded.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SharePoint or OnBoard is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate agendas, papers, minutes, action registers and annual work plans for CFA's Board and Committees.
• Provide advice on governance processes and monitor key actions and deadlines.
• Identify opportunities to improve governance processes and ways of working.
