Job summary

Osborne Richardson is seeking a governance and risk/compliance lead for a 3-month contract in Beaudesert, QLD. The role focuses on ensuring corporate governance standards, legislative compliance, and the ongoing implementation of policy, risk and governance frameworks.

The incumbent will manage information governance, provide expert policy advice, respond to Right to Information requests and work with the Executive Team on emerging governance risks.

Qualifications

• Legal, governance or business management qualifications required.
• Certificate IV in Governance, Risk and Compliance is highly regarded.
• Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle under a C Class Licence.
• Experience in governance, risk and compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Manage Corporate Governance and Risk Management Frameworks to ensure high standards of governance, compliance and risk management.
• Lead policy framework development and educate workforce on compliance with governance legislation.
• Oversee Right to Information requests, Public Interest Disclosures and referrals to relevant bodies.
• Provide strategic advice on governance and risk to the Executive Team and identify emerging risks.
• Collaborate with internal audit to sustain an effective risk-aware culture.
• Oversee delegated authority registers, local laws administration and governance records.
