Job summary

G2 Legal is assisting a globally listed business by recruiting a Governance Lawyer to join the Company Secretariat team and deliver strategic governance and legal support across the global organisation.

The successful candidate will handle board and committee advisory, develop governance frameworks and manage group entity structures, risk and compliance, including governance integration of acquisitions and AGM matters.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years PQE in corporate governance or company secretarial functions.
• Commercially minded with ability to operate at pace and influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide board and committee advisory services.
• Develop and optimise governance frameworks and policies.
• Oversee group structuring, subsidiaries and entity management.
• Manage risk, compliance, internal audit and assurance.

I’m currently recruiting for a newly created Governance Lawyer opportunity with an expanding global listed business.

This is a genuinely international role, working closely with the Company Secretariat team and providing strategic governance and legal support across the global organisation.

About you

We’re looking for a strong corporate, governance or company secretarial lawyer with c5-8 years PQE working in a sophisticated corporate environment.

You’ll ideally be commercially minded, comfortable operating at pace and confident working with senior stakeholders across a global organisation.
