Job summary

Uniting NSW.ACT is seeking a Home Care Worker in Gosford to support elderly clients in their homes. This permanent part-time role runs Monday to Friday and offers a pay rate of $36.23 to $37.68 per hour plus 99c per km and travel time.

Qualifications

• Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or Individual Support required.
• Medication Competency Certificate required.
• Experience in aged or community care preferred, or interest in starting a career in aged care.
• Demonstrates empathy and aligns with Uniting values: compassion, respect, imagination, boldness.
• Driver's license with access to a reliable, insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Help at home with housekeeping, groceries, and meals.
• Provide transport for appointments, shopping, and social activities.
• Assist with personal care including hygiene, showering, dressing, and medication administration.
