Job summary

RACV Goldfields Resort is seeking a dedicated Groundsperson to join our golf course maintenance team in Daylesford region, Victoria. In this physical role you will perform general grounds and gardening tasks to keep our course and surroundings in top condition, while delivering a welcoming guest experience.

You'll have previous grounds or gardening experience, a valid Australian drivers license, and the ability to work as part of a team or independently.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Groundsperson in a resort or similar environment.
• Drivers Licence.
• Machinery operation experience desirable.
• Gardening, irrigation knowledge and golf course maintenance desirable.
• Strong communication, time management, attention to detail and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work well in a team or independently, performing active physical duties.
• Positive attitude and approach to work, enthusiastic, flexible/adaptable and excellent personal presentation.
• Full working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day activities to maintain the golf course and grounds to the highest standard with minimal disruption to business operations.
• Maintain workshop areas and storerooms; keep tools in working condition.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and tidiness around the property; ensure the golf course is presented to a high standard.
• Adhere to RACV best practice operating standards and up-to-date SOPs.
• Continuously update knowledge and skills; interact with guests to provide high-standard service.
• Use tools and equipment; maintain OHS standards and compliance with policies.
