Job summary

Talent Web Recruitment is assisting a well-established client in Sydney to appoint a Senior Tax Manager. You will own tax compliance for a large portfolio, including MIT and company returns, while partnering with global stakeholders and leading a dotted-line team in India.

You will drive the move to better tax technology, enhance controls, and work closely with CFOs, auditors and external advisors in a hybrid work environment. CPA/CA or tax-law qualifications are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and professional tax qualification (CPA/CA or law) or equivalent.
• Tax experience in a multinational, CPA/CA or law background with tax specialisation.
• Property tax exposure and strong Excel, communication, and judgement.

Responsibilities

• Own tax compliance for MIT and company returns, quarterly tax calculations, PAYG, FBT and tax forecasting.
• Support acquisitions/disposals, capital gains calculations, depreciation and GST/tax sharing reviews.
• Drive adoption of better tax technology and systems with finance, tax team and service providers.
