Job summary

EY's Senior Manager in Perth leads international tax and transaction advisory, guiding structuring, due diligence and advisory engagements for multinational and private equity clients across mining, oil & gas, services, infrastructure and more.

You will mentor junior staff, manage projects, and coordinate across EY's global network, while staying current with tax law changes and industry trends. A minimum of six years in Australian tax consulting and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Australian tax consulting, in a tax consulting, corporate or legal tax environment.
• Strong foundation in income tax and ability to research tax legislation and case law.
• Strong project management skills including budgeting and delivery timetables.
• Ability to adapt to technology solutions including AI.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for clients and junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Advising clients on domestic and international tax matters across the M&A life cycle.
• Preparing tax opinions and reports on various domestic and international matters.
• Project managing multi-disciplinary teams to deliver work across geographies.
• Building and maintaining client relationships and providing exceptional service.
• Guiding and supporting junior team members while staying updated on tax changes.
