Job summary

Takeda Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Clinical Research/Engagement leader to act as the local face of Takeda, coordinating site engagement, feasibility, and startup activities across the region. You will work with study teams, MA, and CRO partners to drive site selection and activation strategies.

The role emphasizes strong communication with investigators, site staff and cross‑functional teams, with travel up to 30–50% in the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in life sciences or related field; clinical/advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years in clinical research, CRO or pharmaceutical company, with trial experience.
• Experience in Oncology trials is preferred.
• Extensive site management and monitoring across complex disease areas.
• Strong knowledge of GCP and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Engage with study sites and CRO to support site feasibility and identification.
• Track start‑up hurdles and ensure SIVs and activations as planned.
• Support recruitment strategies and booster visits to meet targets.
• Attend investigator meetings and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
