Job summary

Braemac Pty is seeking a Quality & Compliance Business Manager to own and drive the quality strategy across local and global teams.

In this standalone role, you will partner with the Australian business, collaborate with our global Quality & Compliance team, and lead ISO certification efforts while ensuring regulatory and supplier compliance. You’ll work to strengthen quality culture and process excellence across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5 years’ distribution/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of ISO certification frameworks and principles.
• Experience with modern slavery legislation.
• Ability to multitask with limited supervision on long ISO projects.
• Knowledge of OHS regulations and standards.
• Understanding of sales, purchasing, warehousing and vendor relations.
• Ability to analyze processes and propose improvements.
• Excellent report writing and business communication.
• Teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop the Quality Management Strategy and update policies and procedures.
• Educate employees on QMS and promote quality culture across functions.
• Liaise between customers, sales, operations, RMA and product to resolve quality issues.
• Use the QMS to plan and conduct internal audits for policy compliance.
• Lead ISO re-certification for ISO9001, ISO13485, ISO14001.
• Communicate audit findings and track corrective actions in CAR/PAR system.
• Perform internal audits across production, assembly and distribution.
• Support PPAP and ensure documentation is complete and timely.
• Apply 8D methods to address nonconformances and drive root-cause verification.
• Oversee OHS procedures and maintain ongoing compliance.
• Serve as quality issues expert with suppliers, customers and stakeholders.
• Collect and analyze customer feedback via NPS to improve satisfaction.
• Produce quality reporting metrics for stakeholders.
• Handle supplier-related issues to enhance performance.
• Additional duties as assigned.
