Job summary

Minetek in Australia seeks an experienced Head of Projects to provide strategic leadership of our global project portfolio, directing project managers, engineers, and operations personnel across continents.

You will shape delivery from concept through completion, optimise resource allocation, manage multi-million-dollar budgets and risks, ensure quality, safety and ESG standards, and report outcomes to senior leadership and the Board.

Qualifications

• Advanced qualifications in Engineering, Project Management, or Business with executive-level certifications.
• Experience in mining, construction, industrial manufacturing, civil engineering or related industries.
• Experience managing large-scale, multi-million-dollar global projects.
• Strong strategic risk management including geopolitical and supply chain risks.
• Executive leadership experience leading senior teams.
• Proven ability to improve project margins and efficiency through technology.
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiations.
• Experience with international contracts and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global project strategies aligned with objectives, growth, and profitability.
• Lead project teams and promote a high-performance, collaborative culture.
• Oversee project portfolios, financial performance, prioritization, and ROI.
