Job summary

Breville Group is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer – NPD to join our Global Quality team. You’ll ensure that new product developments meet performance, safety, and customer satisfaction standards, delivering quality requirements throughout the NPD process.

Work closely with NPD teams, suppliers, and manufacturing partners to uphold Breville’s reputation for excellence, drive continuous improvement, and support product releases across regions.

Qualifications

• Strong engineering background with electrical and mechanical knowledge.
• Proven project management skills to handle multiple projects.
• Experience in root cause analysis and 8D methodologies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across regions.
• Proficiency in compiling and presenting technical information (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality and serviceability reviews on NPD designs.
• Establish QC specifications, life testing, and technical specs.
• Review production samples and generate QC reports.
• Lead investigations into quality issues, warranty concerns, and field failures.
• Collaborate with suppliers and global teams to resolve quality issues and implement improvements.
• Maintain quality records and compliance documentation.
• Provide training to QC inspectors and support product releases.
• Travel internationally as required to oversee quality processes and supplier engagement.
