Job summary

Elements Recruitment Australia is partnered to attract an experienced Financial Controller for a global manufacturing business based in Sydney’s Eastern Creek region. This hands-on leadership role oversees the Australian finance function and partners with global stakeholders to drive performance.

The role reports to the local CEO and Global Finance leadership, leading budgeting, reporting, controls, and continuous improvement across accounting, AP and AR.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA qualification with experience in financial control.
• Experience in manufacturing or distribution.
• Proven track record in leading a finance team.
• Experience in international group structure.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Oversee monthly reporting including P&L and balance sheet.
• Analyze results and variances to identify risks and opportunities.
• Manage cash flow, working capital and debtors.
• Maintain robust controls and compliance.
• Develop and mentor a small finance team.
• Collaborate with IT and stakeholders on finance systems.
