Job summary

Cullen Jewellery, a fast-growing Australian fine jewellery brand, seeks a Learning and Development Manager to build manager capability across Australia, the US, UK, Canada and New Zealand. Based in Kew, you will design practical development tools and leadership rhythms, lifting coaching, feedback and accountability.

You will own the capability framework, manager development, onboarding, and engagement processes, partnering with senior leaders to drive succession planning and talent reviews.

Qualifications

• Experience owning L&D/OD programs from design to evaluation.
• Strong track record building manager capability in coaching and performance conversations.
• Confident facilitator and communicator engaging senior leaders and diverse groups.
• Experience running engagement or employee listening programs and turning data into practical actions.
• Experience supporting succession planning, talent reviews and internal mobility.
• Data-led, commercially minded with PM skills and LMS/platform experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver manager development pathway and programs on coaching, feedback, performance conversations, trust and leading change.
• Develop the Cullen Managers Handbook and guidance for 1:1s, development and performance conversations; partner with Head of People and Culture on senior leader capability.
• Own the learning calendar, LMS, induction and HQ onboarding framework with Retail Trainer and leaders to connect onboarding and sales training.
• Embed behaviour assessment tool and facilitate workshops to improve team effectiveness.
• Run engagement and pulse surveys; turn feedback into actions with owners and due dates.
• Own succession planning framework; facilitate talent reviews and development pathways for Retail leadership and priority talent.
• Measure learning impact, manager effectiveness, succession coverage and internal appointments.
