Global Immigration - Consultant or Senior Consultant

The opportunity

As our Consultant or Senior Consultant you’ll join our Global Immigration practice, part of an international network of offices, and a worldwide team of People Advisory Services professionals.

This is a hybrid position based in Naarm – Melbourne, Boorloo – Perth, Canberra - Meanjin – Brisbane or Warrang – Sydney. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.

Your key responsibilities

  • Execute compliance services related to visa applications, work permits, residence permits, extensions, short-term business traveller deployment, and diagnostic reviews of immigration compliance with the Department of Home Affairs.
  • Provide strategic advice to help client organisations understand and navigate immigration compliance requirements.
  • Assist clients in sponsoring overseas nationals to work in their business, and represent them in matters related to sponsorships, visa refusals, and cancellations.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Professional Background: Registered migration agent or legal practitioner with 2–4 years of experience in a legal or professional services environment, demonstrating solid knowledge of immigration fundamentals and processes.
  • Work Style & Capabilities: Skilled at managing high volumes of work within tight timeframes, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively while working independently or collaboratively.
  • Mindset & Approach: Passionate about process-driven work, with a strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward continuous improvement.
