Job summary

Rio Tinto is seeking a Senior Manager Ethics & Compliance | Assurance, Governance and Reporting to lead the central design and stewardship of a new second-line capability. This role aligns with the Group Risk Management Standard and Operating Model across regions.

Reporting to the Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer, you will oversee assurance programme design, governance, analytics and reporting, building a global, diverse team and delivering timely insights to governance forums.

• Demonstrated capability designing and operating second-line assurance frameworks

Responsibilities

• Set strategy and operating model for Ethics & Compliance Assurance, Governance and Reporting.
• Design and execute integrated second-line assurance programme across risk profiles.
• Lead Bowtie design, critical controls monitoring, and control documentation.
• Develop risk-based monitoring and analytics with Enterprise Risk & Insurance.
• Govern governance architecture for Enterprise Compliance Standard and Code of Conduct.
• Deliver timely, evidence-based reporting for senior governance forums.
• Build and lead a diverse global team and drive learning/communication strategy.
• Manage ethics and compliance data and enable systems with automation and AI.
