Job summary

Canva in Sydney is hiring a Program Manager, Education Content, on a 24-month fixed-term contract. The role sits in a hybrid environment with on-site collaboration in Sydney and flexible remote work, coordinating content initiatives across global teams and leveraging AI to improve workflows.

You will partner with Education Content and Learning Experience Product to deliver curriculum-aligned, localised educational content and learning experiences for Canva for Education.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in program or project management, content operations, or cross-functional coordination.
• Experience leveraging AI and automation to scale systems and workflows.
• Experience supporting senior leaders in planning, budgeting, and hiring.
• Proven ability to build shared processes across distributed teams.
• Sharp communication, prioritisation, and bias to action.

Responsibilities

• Manage budget, contingent workforce planning, goals, planning cycles and performance reporting.
• Own internal comms and rhythms for distributed teams across regions.
• Coordinate content initiatives across partnerships, AI-generated content, EDU Creator, and vendor content.
• Translate strategy into milestones, dependencies and plans for each content funnel.
• Identify bottlenecks and partner with teams to implement improvements.
• Maintain reporting on content production health and campaign performance; manage tracking systems.
• Coordinate contingent workforce hiring, onboarding, contracts, renewals and budgets.
• Serve as the connective layer between Education Content, Learning Experience Product, Content & Discovery, and International.
• Drive adoption of AI and automation to boost team efficiency.
