Job summary

ZIMMERMANN is seeking an experienced Digital Project Manager to lead a high-profile global website redesign and replatforming onto Salesforce Commerce Cloud. The role coordinates Digital, Retail, Marketing, IT, Operations, and Finance across regions to deliver a scalable, elevated client experience aligned with brand strategy.

This fixed-term contract (1–2 months) demands strong governance, budget oversight, and vendor management, with a focus on omnichannel integration and timelined delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience delivering large-scale digital transformation and eCommerce programs, ideally within global or multi-region organisations.
• Demonstrated experience leading Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) implementations, including multi-site, multi-currency, and integrated platform environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of the global website redesign and replatforming to Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
• Manage the full project lifecycle, including scope, planning, budgeting, risk management, execution, and post-launch optimisation.
• Deliver complex, multi-stream digital programs on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Digital, Retail, Marketing, IT, Operations, and Finance.
• Manage external development partners, agencies, and technology vendors, ensuring accountability and achievement of agreed deliverables and service levels.
• Drive the design and implementation of scalable, future-ready digital architecture.
• Ensure seamless integration between eCommerce, CRM, ERP, payment gateways, and third-party platforms.
• Monitor and report on project performance, website analytics, and key commercial KPIs, identifying opportunities for optimisation and continuous improvement.
• Partner with Retail and other business functions to deliver a seamless omnichannel customer experience.
• Work closely with QA teams to support robust testing frameworks, issue triage, and successful release management.
• Assess emerging technologies and platform enhancements that support scalability, efficiency, and competitive advantage.
• Develop RFPs and support the selection and management of technology and agency partners.
• Recommend and implement initiatives that contribute to revenue growth and global business objectives.
• Champion project governance, documentation standards, and digital best practices.
