Job summary

G. James NSW Glass Operations in Smithfield is seeking a motivated Glass Worker to join our team. This hands-on role provides full training and a clear path to a long-term career in manufacturing with a respected national company.

You'll perform hands-on work across factory processes, handle glass safely, and learn multiple production tasks with ongoing development and support. Ideal candidates have factory/warehouse experience or be keen to learn, with strong safety, quality, and teamwork

Qualifications

• Previous factory/production/warehouse experience preferred but not essential.
• Must demonstrate safety awareness and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on work across factory processes including truck loading/unloading and production support.
• Handle and move glass safely and efficiently.
• Learn multiple production tasks with on‑the‑job training.

The Role

• Hands-on work across various factory processes, including truck loading/unloading and production support
• Hands on work supporting daily factory processes
• Handling and moving glass safely
• Learning multiple production tasks with training provided
• Opportunity to learn new skills and gain experience in multiple areas of glass processing

About You

• Previous experience in a factory, production, or warehouse environment (glass experience highly regarded but not essential)
• Manual handling experience and a commitment to safe work practices
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
• High attention to safety, quality, efficiency, and accuracy in all tasks
• Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and develop new skills
