Qualifications

• Diploma in Spatial Science (min) or degree in Geography/Environmental Science/GIS.
• Experience building web mapping apps with GeoServer and ESRI ArcGIS including Collector/Survey123.
• Backend development with .NET or Java; strong coding with JavaScript, Python, OpenLayers, HTML5, CSS, XML/JSON, SQL.
• Experience with Oracle/MS SQL Spatial databases and cloud services (AWS/Azure).
• Ability to interpret geospatial vector and raster data, LiDAR processing, and map projections.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Vegetation Asset Management GIS and related IT systems.
• Provide SME support in GIS/IT projects and work with business requirements.
• Collaborate with GIS Manager to deliver GIS initiatives for the organisation.
