Job summary

The CareSide in Australia is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to join our team in QLD. You will assist clients with daily activities to help them live safely at home. This casual, 10 hours per week position includes travel reimbursement and PPE.

Ideal candidate fluent in German, with First Aid/CPR, police clearance, and a valid Australian driver’s license. We value reliability, compassion, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
• National Police Clearance Certificate.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence with registered vehicle and insurance.
• Smartphone.
• Organised, punctual, friendly, and genuinely caring.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: showers, dressing, grooming, toileting, and medication prompts
• Assist with domestic tasks: cleaning, meal prep, shopping
• Offer social support and respite care
• Transport clients to appointments
• Maintain accurate care records
