Job summary
The CareSide in ACT is seeking a compassionate Support Worker (Casual) to help clients live safely and independently at home. You will provide personal care, assist with domestic tasks, offer social support, transport to appointments, and maintain accurate care records.
Fluency in German, current First Aid and CPR, National Police Clearance, Australian Driver’s Licence with registered vehicle and insurance, a smartphone, and a genuinely caring nature are essential.
Qualifications
- Fluent in German and compassionate, reliable, and committed to delivering exceptional care.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- National Police Clearance Certificate.
- Australian Driver’s Licence with registered vehicle and insurance.
- Smartphone for work coordination.
- Organised, punctual, friendly and genuinely caring.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care: showers, dressing, grooming, toileting, and medication prompts.
- Assist with domestic tasks: cleaning, meal prep, shopping.
- Offer social support and respite care.
- Transport clients to appointments.
- Maintain accurate care records.
