Job summary

South Eastern Sydney Local Health District is seeking an Advanced Trainee Registrar in Geriatric Medicine to deliver high-standard clinical care across Acute and Community services, including Aged Care and Emergency Department teams.

The role requires MBBS or equivalent, Australian registration, and completion of RACP requirements or similar. The contract commences Feb 1, 2027 and ends Feb 6, 2028, with interviews on Oct 28, 2026 and reference checks by Oct 30.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent and registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
• Completion of Royal Australasian College of Physicians requirements is preferred.
• Experience in multidisciplinary teams and teaching is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide high standard clinical care across Geriatric Medicine units and services.
• Participate in domiciliary assessment and community management with relevant teams.
• Demonstrate teaching and supervision of junior medical staff.
