Job summary

Aurelia Metals invites a safety-focused Geotechnical Engineer to Federation Mine in NSW. You will support underground development and longhole stoping with design, inspections and risk management, reporting to the Senior Geotechnical Engineer.

Working with Mining and Technical Services, you’ll influence ground support solutions, perform stope reviews and contribute to mine planning, fostering a collaborative, safety-driven culture.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Geotechnical engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
Ability to work autonomously and make sound technical decisions.

Responsibilities

Provide operational geotechnical support across underground development and longhole stoping.
Design ground support and perform geotechnical inspections.
Review stope performance, manage risk and contribute to mine planning.
Collaborate with Mining and Technical Services to influence decisions.
