Job summary

CMW Geosciences is looking for a Geotechnical Engineer to join our Sydney team. This junior role offers hands-on site experience and exposure to infrastructure, transmission, and renewable energy projects.

Recent graduates or professionals with up to 4 years of experience are encouraged to apply. You will collaborate with engineers, geologists, and clients, performing site inspections, data collection, and reporting while advancing technical and construction-phase skills for a well‑rounded

Qualifications

• Tertiary degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, or Earth Science.
• Ability to perform strenuous fieldwork on site.
• Current Australian driver’s licence.
• Willingness to travel within NSW.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertake technical and non-technical tasks under senior supervision.
• Develop technical solutions using engineering and geological principles.
• Carry out fieldwork, data collection/processing, and reporting.
• Support in progressing all aspects of project delivery.
