Responsibilities

• Identify and implement practical solutions to soil, rock and groundwater problems.
• Apply engineering techniques to predict and manage ground behaviour when affected by human activity.
• Plan, direct and conduct survey work to assess soil/rock behaviour under proposed loads and foundations.
• Obtain soil and rock samples at various depths and test to determine strength and related factors.
• Determine safe loading for soils and assist with above/below ground foundation designs.
